NAME

mkfifo - make FIFOs (named pipes)

SYNOPSIS

mkfifo [OPTION]... NAME...

DESCRIPTION

Create named pipes (FIFOs) with the given NAMEs.

Mandatory arguments to long options are mandatory for short options too.

set file permission bits to MODE, not a=rw - umask
set the SELinux security context of each NAME to CTX
When COREUTILS_CHILD_DEFAULT_ACLS environment variable is set, -m/--mode option respects default umask and ACLs, as it does in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 by default
display this help and exit
output version information and exit
